 Emily Fuchs McCarty, TCRG (Owner and Lead Instructor), originally from Kansas City, MO, began Irish Dancing at the age of nine under the direction of Belfast native, Christine ORiada. Christine's background in Irish dance, ballet, and stage performance has been passed on and truly shines in Emily’s innovative approach to the art form. Known for combining Irish dance with elements of musical theater, unique themes, and current top songs while also encouraging an understanding of the history of the movements and dances, Emily is a teacher focused on the love of the dance as well as the culture!

IT STARTED AS A SKETCH
Mrs. Emily picked colors and a design that represents the Heartland Irish Dancers.

BECAME A DIGITIZED DESIGN
Local seamstress, Lara Chartier, digitized our design and found the perfect materials and threads to be used on our skirts, cummerbunds & vests!

AND THE FINAL PRODUCT
Our beginner dancers wear cummerbunds or a soft skirt while our advanced dancers wear a vest or a pleated skirt.
